</> The "Athlete"

This path didn’t begin with the goal of running a marathon or lifting specific weights. It started with a simple objective: to achieve physical change and simply feel better.

Quickly, curiosity led me to the gym and the pavement. What began as a desire for transformation soon turned into a full-fledged passion for the process itself. I discovered the profound satisfaction of watching the body change, the mind strengthen, and the limits continuously push further back.

Today, I’m someone who refuses to choose between raw strength and infinite endurance.

The Initial Fire: Consistency in the Gym

My foundation is built in the weight room. I learned that the key isn’t the amount of time you spend, but the quality of the effort.

  • My Approach: Three times a week, my workouts are a strategic and efficient assault. My condensed strength routines, lasting 45-60 minutes, aim for hypertrophy, power, and, above all, discipline. This smart volume allows me to build a strong physique (using key movements like Hack Squats or Romanian Deadlifts) without incurring fatigue that would jeopardize my running.

The Infinite Challenge: The Call of the Marathon

Running captured my focus. From those first few kilometers, the horizon has expanded to the dream of completing a Marathon.

  • Mental Fortitude: My week is now structured around this massive challenge. While the weather prevents outdoor training, I move to the treadmill to work on my speed and mental toughness, safely bypassing the rain that caused illness. Saturday remains the sacred day for the Long Run outside, where mind and body learn to cooperate over long distances.

The Complete Athlete: Versatility and Resilience

I refuse to settle for useless strength or fragile endurance. My hybrid nature means constantly seeking variety, which is where my love for cycling and MTB comes into play.

  • Cross-Training and Recovery: Cycling serves as the perfect low-impact complement to my running and lifting schedule. It enhances my cardiovascular base and strengthens my legs differently—crucial for joint health and recovery during those high-volume weeks.

  • Functional Edge: To maintain true functional resilience, I integrate the spirit of HYROX into my routine. One day a week, I blend running bursts with demanding functional exercises like Rowing or the Farmer’s Carry, ensuring my strength is functional, my core is steel, and my body can perform under sustained fatigue.

Current Milestones

The foundation is set, and the process is running on all cylinders. Key achievements to date include:

What's Next on the Horizon?

My current focus is disciplined execution: pushing through the 20-week Marathon plan while consistently growing stronger in the gym. But the beauty of the hybrid life is the endless possibility. Once the Marathon is conquered, the next goal will be established—perhaps tackling a more complex functional fitness competition, setting a new lifting personal best, or integrating an ultra-endurance cycling challenge.

The process of becoming the strongest and most resilient version of myself is continuous.
